Bio
Fenella Belle is an artist and teacher who brings an “everything but the kitchen sink” approach to her artwork and her teaching. She is particularly interested in making art accessible to everyone, regardless of age, education or exposure. Belle’s background includes teaching adults and children, exhibit design, fabric printing and site-specific installation art. She is currently the Chairperson of the Visual and Performing Art Department at Piedmont Virginia Community College. She also conducts workshops around the state for the Virginia Museum of Fine Art and is an associate member of McGuffey Art Center in downtown Charlottesville, Va. When she’s not in her studio or teaching she likes to wander around in the woods with her husband, dogs and cats.
